Don't Borrow Trouble!

Watch out for predatory lending. It if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is...

We are the local lead agency for Don't Borrow Trouble!, a national campaign to alert the public about the dangers of predatory lending. Don't Borrow Trouble! is particularly aimed at minorities and the elderly, both of whom have been identified as likely targets of "too good to be true" loan scams. We teach people how to understand loan terms and what they can do if they believe they have been victimized by an unscrupulous lender.
