PathStone Corp. has received a $697,690 grant to strengthen neighborhoods through housing and community development initiatives.
The Rochester-based non-profit agency received the grant through the national NeighborWorks network, which is supported by NeighborWorks America and consists of more than 235 independent non-profit organizations.
The funding will be used to create affordable housing opportunities in New York, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Puerto Rico.
Pathstone plans to soon break ground on Wedgepoint Apartments, a 60-unit workforce housing development in Rochester’s South Wedge neighborhood. The project is funded in part with $200,000 of NeighborWorks capital.
