Peter Carpino, President of the United Way of Greater Rochester, will receive the PathStone Corporation Visionary Award for his visionary leadership in managing the United Way Synergy Fund. The award will be presented during the PathStone Valentine Social: Honoring Collaboration on Wednesday, February 11th beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Temple B’rith Kodesh.

We will be honored by your presence as we take this opportunity to thank Peter for his courageous “out-of-the-box” promotion of the Synergy Fund as a vehicle to explore and evaluate collaborative opportunities for organizations to most effectively serve our community.

The United Way goal for the Synergy Fund is designed to make it possible for community-based organizations to explore the feasibility of working collaboratively to best serve their clients and the entire community. As part of the Visionary Award celebration, Peter will deliver a brief summary of his perspective on the impact of the Synergy Fund in the delivery of human services to the people of the Rochester region.

Susan Holliday of the Rochester Business Journal will serve as our mistress of ceremonies, facilitating a discussion on the Synergy Fund with Susan Rogers of WXXI and Loren Ranaletta of Episcopal Senior Life Communities.

The Valentine Social will offer the sounds of Cincopation, a group of talented young local musicians specializing in Latin jazz, jazz and jazz fusion. We will also have grazing stations, a cash bar and a wonderful opportunity to network with friends and colleagues. Festivities will conclude by 7:30 p.m.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m.
