FORECLOSURE PREVENTION DAY SCHEDULED WITH AREA LENDERS

Distressed homeowners, considering or close to foreclosure, will be able to meet face to face with area lenders at the Housing Council’s Home for the Holidays foreclosure prevention day, Saturday, November 5, 2011. Any homeowner who is delinquent on their mortgage or is at risk of falling behind will be able to meet privately with foreclosure prevention counselors and representatives from area lenders.
“Homeowner delinquencies both nationally and locally continue to imperil individuals and families’ ability to stay in their homes, and the Housing Council continues to address and work with everyone in crisis with their home”, added Board President Karen Leonardi.
The day, which is free and open to all consumers, will run from 9 AM to 5PM on November 5th, on the 1st floor of the United Way building, 75 College Avenue, Rochester, NY. 14607.
